The Springs Hot Spring Resort – Pagosa, Colorado

The Springs Resort in Pagosa, Colorado

The Springs Resort in Pagosa is my favorite non-natural hot springs to date. The resort costs about $20 per day, or $120 for overnight, and boasts 23 pools that cascade down a hillside leading into the San Juan River. The pools vary in temperature from 115 degrees to 85 degrees (this is the pool in the actual river), and are open to overnight guests 24/7. They’re luxurious, intimate, and rich in minerals. The only downside is that they smell strongly of sulfur, so you’ll stink for days.
