Girdwood Brewing – One of the Best & Most Beautiful Breweries

Girdwood Brewing, Girdwood, Alaska

Girdwood Brewing was my favorite brewery in Alaska, and my favorite of the first leg of our truck camping journey. It had two amazing New England (hazy) IPAs (the juicy one was particularly delicious), really cool merchandise, and a great outdoor seating area with stunning surround views. We hung out there a couple of nights.

I can’t confirm because we didn’t have Odin when in Alaska last, but I’m fairly certain this brewery is dog-friendly.

She started TravelSages in the summer of 2013, and has since founded a digital marketing consultancy, called LyteYear, and a sustainability brand, called RePrint. Before moving into her tiny mobile home, Lauren lived in Chicago for 6 years, pursued two graduate degrees, studied abroad at Oxford, worked for a summer in Hong Kong, and traveled to various countries in between. She has a mildly unhealthy love of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Netflix, and breweries with good New England IPAs.
