Born in Boston and raised in Chicago, Rachel Alexander is a freelance writer, linguist and ceramicist. A graduate from Loyola University and two-time recipient of the State Department’s Critical Language Scholarship, she loves to travel as much as she loves to enjoy the spoils of the city that nurtured her. Before returning home to Chicago, Rachel scoured India and the Far East in search of rare and precious experiences.
